Two changes have been made to the master schedule you were given on Monday:

 

1.   Physics and Band students:  On the second semester side of the master schedule, Physics will move to 3rd period, so it no longer conflicts with Band.  

2.  PreCalculus and Physics students:  PreCalculus is being moved to 4th period.  This is being done so it does not conflict with Physics.

  • Turn in next year’s schedule when complete to the office.
  • The office has summer school forms that you may pickup and then return back to office.
  • New Silver Cord Opportunity:  The Renwick Donkey Daze Committee is looking for volunteers to help throughout the day with kids games and ice cream shop.  If interested please contact Abby Kunert by email for details at abbykunert@yahoo.com.

Student Council Officer Applications are now open! We are seeking candidates for the following officer positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Publicist, and Historian. Next year the Student Council will be led by these 5 students. 

These 5 elected officers will decide on a theme for each month. During that month meetings and events will be planned for that specific theme. Students from the whole student body will be invited to participate during that month if they would like to help or be a part of the Student Council for the month.   • Attention to all incoming Seniors for 2021-2022: RE: Iowa Meningitis vaccination requirement. Students entering 12th grade and born after September 15th, 1999, will need proof of two doses of the vaccine, or one dose if the shot was after the student turned 16. Proof of the vaccination (or medical/religious exemption) is a requirement before the first day of your Senior year.  When going in for your next appointment or yearly/sports physical between now and next August, please ask them to review your immunization record with you to be certain you are up to date.     HS Band & Chorus Students and Parents: You are invited to the CGD Music Boosters Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 18 at 7pm at the Red Shed. Come for dessert and stay for the fun! We will be celebrating our music students, awarding the Music Boosters scholarships, and honoring David Ackerman (as he gracefully transitions to retirement). No RSVP necessary, just come and join us Tuesday night!

    CONGRATULATIONS to the HS Chorus on receiving a Division I (Superior) rating at Large Group State Contest.  The students recorded their performance on Friday, May 7 because they competed virtually.  Each of the 3 judges gave the mixed chorus a Division I rating.  This is the first time the HS Chorus has received a Division I rating since 2016.  Mr. Ackerman is extremely proud of you!!!

2021 FLAG TEAM Practice Sessions:
Membership in the 2021 Flag Team is open to ALL high school students.  If you are interested in becoming a member about the Flag Team, please email Mr. Wesselink this week to let him know you would like to be included and then make plans to attend the practice sessions next week.  His email is

  • Two changes have been made to the master schedule you were given on Monday:

     

    1.   Physics and Band students:  On the second semester side of the master schedule, Physics will move to 3rd period, so it no longer conflicts with Band.  

    2.  PreCalculus and Physics students:  PreCalculus is being moved to 4th period.  This is being done so it does not conflict with Physics.

  • Turn in next year’s schedule when complete to the office.
  • The office has summer school forms that you may pickup and then return back to office.

Student Council Officer Applications are now open! We are seeking candidates for the following officer positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Publicist, and Historian. Next year the Student Council will be led by these 5 students. 

These 5 elected officers will decide on a theme for each month. During that month meetings and events will be planned for that specific theme. Students from the whole student body will be invited to participate during that month if they would like to help or be a part of the Student Council for the month. Students entering 12th grade and born after September 15th, 1999, will need proof of two doses of the vaccine, or one dose if the shot was after the student turned 16. Proof of the vaccination (or medical/religious exemption) is a requirement before the first day of your Senior year.  When going in for your next appointment or yearly/sports physical between now and next August, please ask them to review your immunization record with you to be certain you are up to date.
