  • Girls & Boys basketball at Belmond-Klemme starting at 4:00 p.m. today Good Luck!
    • Varsity bus leaves at 5:00 p.m.

Here is some general information for tonight's nights games in Belmond.

    1. Will have one table where spectators can pay and also present their pass
    for admittance.
    2. Bleachers will be marked with green tape for places for spectators to sit so social distancing can occur. Households will be asked to sit together. Gym will be cleared after each game to make room for the next group of fans.
    3. Here is the timeline I am going to use so fans know when to arrive for
    their game.
    4:00 JV Girls
    5:00 JV Boys
    6:15 Varsity Girls
    7:30 Varsity Boys
I will not start another game early so we give fans time to leave the gym and the next group of fans to get into the gym. I do not know if these times are right or not but going to try this for this first set of games
    4. Masks will be mandatory to be worn at all times.
    5. There will be no concession stand and fans should not bring food or
drink into the gym so should have no need to take their mask down. If your teams bring sack lunches there will be a designated area down our west hallway off the gym that will have lunch tables set you for your players to eat on.
    6. We will live stream the game on Belmond Klemme Athletics on U-Tube.

In this time of pandemic, we thought it would be fun to have a digital talent show and raise money for HHF.

This competition is open to any student or faculty member at CGDHS. Entries may be submitted between the dates of November 3 through November 16. Judging will take place on November 17-18 and winners will be announced  on November 20.

Video yourself doing one of your special talents (singing, acting/storytelling, dancing, gymnastics, magic, slam poetry, stand up comedy, visual art, spoken word, making/creating something, yoga poses, tiktok dances, tricks, etc {NO LIP SYNCING}). The sky's the limit, however it must be school appropriate.

Acts can be 1-3 minutes long and entrants may only submit one video.  Pick up an application in the high school office. Complete and return the application with your entrance fee. After submitting your application, email your video to rentin@clargold.org. Video submissions will be posted on our Masters of Business Google classroom after they are received and approved. (link to the classroom will be sent after the video is approved).

Members of the Masters of Business Club will vote on the top videos. Prizes will be awarded to the three videos with the highest number of votes. Winners  will receive a donated Gift Card Prize from one of our local businesses. There is a $5.00 entry fee for each video submitted. Make your checks payable to CGD Community School District.

So tag your friends, submit your videos to rentin@clargold.org and  let’s be creative! The more the merrier! May the odds be ever in your favor!
