    Attention 16-17 JUNIORS:  The State of Iowa now requires all incoming Seniors to receive a meningococcal vaccine before  17-18 CGD school year begins next August.

    The district has just received approval for a summer meal program.  The district will serve lunches at four locations.  The main meal will be served at the high school.  Other locations will provide sack lunches, including the Goldfield building, Clarion Swimming Pool, and Dows Swimming Pool.  Meals are free for all individuals, age 18 years of age or younger.  Adults may also eat at a price $3.50 per meal.  Meals will be served starting Monday, June 12 through Friday, August 4.  Meals will be served Monday through Friday, with the exception of July 4th.  Meals will be served between the hours of 11:00am and 12:30pm.

    The district has just received approval for a summer meal program.  The district will serve lunches at four locations.  The main meal will be served at the high school.  Other locations will provide sack lunches, including the Goldfield building, Clarion Swimming Pool, and Dows Swimming Pool.  Meals are free for all individuals, age 18 years of age or younger.  Adults may also eat at a price $3.50 per meal.  Meals will be served starting Monday, June 12 through Friday, August 4.  Meals will be served Monday through Friday, with the exception of July 4th.  Meals will be served between the hours of 11:00am and 12:30pm.

    Attention Seniors.  The 11” MacBook Air laptops that you have been using are available for you to purchase once all graduation requirements have been met.  The price this year is set at $490.  If you purchase your laptop you will not be required to pay any fees for damage to the unit or loss of adapter.  Senior laptop turn-in will be Tuesday May 16th, beginning at 10:00 am in the HS Library Lab.  Please come prepared with laptop, bag, skins, and adapter.  The adapter you turn in must have your original name tag on it.  If you know you have damage or lost items, come prepared to pay fines so you can get a signature on your sign-out sheet.

    Cleaning supplies will be provided at the turn-in.  Laptops that are purchased will need to be erased and reformatted.  Please backup any information on your laptop before turning it in.  All data will be deleted from senior laptops once they are turned-in.

    SENIORS GOING TO CHANHASSEN

    All 4-year members of band and chorus are traveling to Chanhassen Theatre in Chanhassen, MN on Sunday, May 14th.   Please bring along dress clothes for the theatre.  You may wear school clothes on the bus.  Departure time is 7:00 am.  Return time is approx. 8:00 pm.  Bring along extra money for appetizers, beverages that are not covered, desserts, gift shop, and supper in Albert Lea.  This year's show is GREASE.


    Vocal lessons will meet Thursday and Friday for all Chris members.  The graduation music is here.
